Valamar's "Moments in Life"

On the premise that there’s no better marketing than the positive word of mouth, this summer we pitched a Facebook app idea to Valamar hotels and resorts and beat 7 competitors to the job. We created Moments in Life, an app that indexes photo and video content which Valamar’s customers shared on social networks. Sure, we could have asked their guests to upload to their site; but it’s much more easier to go look for that content on the services people are already using: Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo etc. With an addition of one little tag to a photo or video, a guests’ moment gets shared to everyone interested in what it’s like at Valamar. The thing is… you’ve no idea how much good content the app is now swamped in :)
