PLEASE NOTE: Borja.org has been redesigned!
Borja.org is a “superpersonal lo-fi web destination” of Boris Ličina Borja, Croatian writer and journalist. Borja is involved in the Croatian web scene since its’ beginnings and actively writes (blogs) about technology, music, the Internet in general, and also about the various offline and online places he visits.
Design of the web site emphasizes groovy/jazzy/lounge mood, with all those fancy details. Yet, it’s unique. Our goal was to achieve a modern and cool web interface.
Speaking of which, the author has the ability to change various details across the site with our newly created core.config module.
Visually, it’s possible to change the header images, the background image of the site and the background color, mp3 player teaser… Contextually, each content area (main content area, sidebar) can display a number of relevant titles.
Borja (which is not just a client, he’s also a good aquitance of most of us in web.burza) requested all that flexibility, ‘cause he knows his readership very well and plans on leading visitors towards relevant content. This is a shiny example of a well managed content-driven web site.
